👋 ManyHands London – January 2026 ❄️

❄️ Our January event was just what we needed in the middle of winter; a joyful evening filled with collaboration and plenty of laughs! We kicked things off with two inspiring talks about curating personalised AI workflows and exploring the power of Vibe design. The fun continued with teams presenting a task manager for stand-up comedians. 😂

🎤 Micaela Dixon: Senior Product Designer at Picsart who shared her insights on using AI to curate your own workflow. By walking us through her own toolkit and workflow, Micaela shared how she separates AI noise from real, practical action - helping us to move away from chasing tools or trends, and towards workflows that actually work.

🎤 Tom Howes, Product Director at Picsart who gave us a HIIT session on Vive Design. He covered what GenAI for image and video can do for product people, share real-life examples, and introduce prompt patterns to support content creation. 

Feeling newly inspired by the talks, we grabbed some pizza, split into groups, and got to work. An hour later, we pitched our ideas back to the wider group:

🤣 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗼 – A constantly-aware comedy companion that analyses whether jokes are landing with specific audiences and how a set can be adapted based on cultural context.

🤠 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗼 – an all-in-one personal assistant and therapist for comedians, covering joke brainstorming, gig management, audience analysis, and even reminders to take a break.

🎭 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗻𝘆 – AI-powered comedy training with voice memos, a “Tinder for jokes”, flashcards for rehearsal, and practice modes that train comedians for the hardest of crowds.

📅 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 – a vibrant joke vault and gig manager that helps comedians capture inspiration anywhere, organise material, and build a collaborative community with fellow comics.

👏 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗽 – designed with neurodiversity in mind, combining pre-show brainstorming, live audience-reaction analysis (laughter, gasps, heckles), and thoughtful post-show reflection.
